Sabrina & Tom’s wedding day took us all the way down to Rye on the south coast, so second shooter Sarah and I got to enjoy a fab road trip on the way there!
Sabrina, her bridesmaid Kat and I have known each other online for quite a few years now so it was surreal to finally meet in person, and on such an important day in Sabrina’s life no less! She got ready with her bridesmaids at her wedding venue, the George in Rye, and we were thrilled to walk into such a luxurious, stunning bridal suite for their preparations.
Their ceremony was held just up the road at the town hall, and after their lovely ceremony the town crier walked them back down the hill to the hotel announcing them to the world as the new Mr & Mrs Holloway!
The ballroom at the George is just exquisite, with antique style wall paper and beautiful big windows and lots of light. We couldn’t resist shooting some portraits in there before heading out to the charming cobbled streets to make the most of the beautiful town.
They named their wedding breakfast tables after cars in a nod to both their passion and how they met, on a forum for car lovers - super cute! I'm a total sucker for a good peony bouquet, so to find their tables decorated in beautiful peony arrangements by a family member made my eyes light up as soon as I walked in!
Congratulations you two, it really was an honour and a pleasure to photograph your wedding day.
