When thinking of awesome places to get married, surely a safari park has got to be right up there on the list! And that is exactly where Carol & Chris chose to hold their wedding celebrations – at Woburn to be precise.
They started their day with a lovely heartfelt ceremony at the Woburn Hotel, with the sun blazing through the windows as they said their vows, after which they enjoyed a visit from their gorgeous puppy!
Afterwards, a groomsman handed out tickets to the safari park where the guests enjoyed the sights of giraffes, rhinos, zebras and many more just on the trip into the venue. It was fab! Their celebrations were held at the Safari Lodge, which sits next to the meerkat enclosure and swan boats which we were thrilled to find Carol & Chris had rented out for their guests to enjoy in the evening sunshine. It was a surreal moment for me being chauffeured round the lake by Carol’s nephew as I took photos.. this is my job!
They had the lodge decorated with beautiful protea center pieces with a cake from Seventh Heaven topped in stunning king proteas, and handed out amazing animal outfit props to their guests to take photos with. Great fun! They ended their evening with a surprise choreographed dance to music from the Blue Rinse, and we left them to enjoy their evening in the setting sun.
